Built on the top of the hill at the panoramic Lake Gardens, the blue domed Planetarium was created in 1994; about a decade before Malaysia send her first man into space (via a joint venture with the Russian space agency).
Like any other space center, the major attraction of this planetarium is the space theatre which screens space shows and large format films. The exhibits extend outside with replicas of the Stonehenge sundial and other ancient observatories built near the dome.
